About

I grew up in the south of Ireland in the town of Clonmel in County Tipperary. I graduated with a Masters Degree in Screenwriting from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London, UK in 2011.  I have worked on several feature films and short films both as the main writer and as a script editor. I'm passionate about project development and stepping in to provide script coverage and assist with rewrites on projects in various stages of production. I enjoy developing exciting and adventurous stories with strong characters who the audience/readers can relate to on an emotional level.

I have written several feature films and had my first produced feature film, The Floating Man, screened at the Genesis cinema in London in 2011. My short film, Killer Heels, which was directed by and starred the high profile stunt actress Amanda Foster, was screened at both Cannes and the Marbella International Film festival in 2012 and won the Best Newcomer Award at the Portobello Film Festival in 2013. Having previously trained and worked professionally as a classical and contemporary dancer, I have a heightened awareness of aesthetics and physicality which I enjoy incorporating into the visuals of film.

Every now and again I like to work on set as a script supervisor where I can apply an understanding of film techniques and meticulous observation skills. I was accepted bu Creative Skillset as a trainee scipt supervisor and have received a placement on a big budget feature film due to be released in 2016.
